Pallet Board Valentines Day Heart - EASY

My good friend saw this somewhere and decided that she could easily make this.  She texted up a bunch of girls and made it happen.  It was so easy!

Her husband grabbed some fence posts, cut them to size and nailed them together with a board that goes horizontally across them.  It is rough in many places, but I kind of like that.  I primed it first.

Next was a couple of coats of paint.  I used leftover paint that we had.  I traced a big heart on it.

Then, I filled the heart in with a pale pink.  This is the color of M's room, so I just might put this in there when Valentines Day is over.

I hung it on my wall and looked at it.  Then, I texted my friends and said "I am underwhelmed.  Now what?'

A friend and some vinyl to the rescue.  She cut the word love and I think it finished this off!  Love it.

I love how easy, simple and inexpensive this was.
My kind of craft!

I love this! And funny how the word "love" makes the project - I probably wouldn't have even noticed it was lacking, but now that I compare them, you're absolutely right, and "love" makes it! Great project.
