Tie Secret Love Note

My sweet sweet husband wears a tie at least 4 days a week.  I snuck one of his ties out of his closet and left a little note.  This is on the back of the tie - just for him!

I first embroidered it on my machine - you could totally do this by hand if you wanted to.  My  hand embroidery isn't the best, though, so I chose my machine.  This is on cheap felt.

I just cut a heart around it - and held it up to the tie to make sure it wasn't too big.

Pin it on the tie - making sure you don't catch the front.  Stitching on the front will give away your secret!!

I stitched around the edge and was done!

I can't wait for him to find it.

You could hide a little message on so many things.  I love that it is simple and subtle and secret!

Aww... that's so cute: I love it!

Knowing my husband, he wouldn't notice for months. ;) haha

How sweet! When my kids were younger I used to tuck little notes and such in unexpected places.

Love this...can't wait to hear his reaction. My husband wears a lot of ties, too...this would be too fun to do for him! Would be delighted for you to link to my brand new party: http://www.ishouldbemoppingthefloor.com/2012/01/mop-it-up-mondays-party-1.html

This is such a sweet idea. Although I think the effort would be wasted on Jimmy. He would wear the tie, come home, and then not say anything. When I couldn't stand it any longer I would ask him if he saw it and probably get some response like, "Oh yeah. Thanks."

Such a sweet and unexpected gesture! I love to leave little notes around, but I've gotten lazy about it. You've inspired me!

I Loved your idea and had such fun copying you. What fun you have given me. Thank you for sharing your fun idea. My sweet daughter had the gals in her book club embroider hearts and sewed them on their husbands ties too. You have so many fun ideas and I love trying them too. Thank you again.
