Sadly, our summer ends this week. My two oldest start school on Wednesday. I am so grateful for the time I get to spend with them. We have only gone camping for 2 nights this summer, but I've spent the rest of the summer just soaking up our family time. I've been very busy just trying to keep them busy. I was talking to another mother who did not understand why it makes me a little sad to send my kids to school. I like to be around them and spend time with them. I am grateful that I am a stay-at-home mommy.

Glad you all had a good summer. It looks like you did a lot of fun stuff to make it special for your kids. Good luck with the start of school.
I can relate Laurel! Our youngest starts back a week from tomorrow (the 8th), senior year. She starts volleyball tryouts tomorrow however, and then will be practicing starting on Thursday, so summer is pretty much over for us too. And, I still get teary eyed on the first day of school and she is 17!! I feel so blessed to have been able to be at home with both of my girls and see them grow up.
