A Summer Dress

Remember my stack of inspiration?
Some of it turned into a little dress for my little one.

It would be great if she would model it for you - but she won't put it on.  She insists that it is a winter dress, and I try to make it a policy to not argue with three year olds who are filled with sass and spunk.

Anyways, I love the little ruffle sleeve.  I added a ruffle to the bottom just because I could.  I think she will look darling in it, if she will ever put it on!

The dress looks fabulous. Hopefully she'll decide that it's a summer dress soon. :)

I think you may need to bribe her.

Super cute....get her pair of bright yellow or green flip flops to go with it. Maybe she will realize it is a summer dress then! Good luck...three year olds can be strong willed.

I love the little cap sleeves. If it was about 1000X larger I'd rock that no matter the season. I wish I had a quarter of your talent.

Yup! three-year-olds can be like that - a lot! I love your dress. I saw the thumbnail and I had to see your post! Thanks for sharing!

Oh my word! You made that?! Aren't you a talented mama? I have not branched into making real clothes yet. I did two pillow case style dresses last summer, but that's it. You did a great job!!

Thanks for joining my Weekend Bloggy Reading party (and for linking back-I appreciate that!). Stop by Serenity Now soon. :)
