In October, I make personal goals. You know, goals that I believe help me to be a better, more Christlike person. This is the real stuff and the hard goals.
In January, however, I make my fluffy goals. These are the goals that are just kind of fun.
This is what I've come up with for this year:
I will present gifts prettier - make the packaging count. I remember reading somewhere on Design Mom that 50% of the present is the package - it instantly makes a simple plate of cookies look classy.
Plant a rose garden.
Tackle the coat closet and make it cool. It's big, but it is such wasted space and I know we aren't using it to it's potential. I'm just not sure where I'll go with this yet. This picture is from The Container Store and I think I'll get some ideas from it.
Wear at least one accessory a day - even if I don't leave the home. What a silly goal.

Record each and every penny I spend. That should bring out a smile on my cute hubby's face.
That should keep me busy -onward and upward, right?

love the accessories goal! i find myself running out of the house with some silver studs and my wedding bands on... but accessories are important and make outfits pop! great (fluffy!) goal.
I like the goal of pretty presents...it does make sense that packaging really *makes* the gift! You'd frown over a ripped up gift bag! Great list!!
Accessories - I REALLY need to do that one :)
All great goals! We turned an extra coat closet into a pantry for our paper products and extra cleaning supplies a few years ago, and I am thrilled we did!

I like your "fluffy" goals. I still haven't made mine- opps. I'm so jealous of the snow day! We keep missing the big snow. I could really use the unexpected break.
Those are great fluffy goals! I try the penny counting and it's not that easy - good luck to you on that one, I hope you fair better than I do!

The accessories goal is so girly. Love it.
Need to sort out my coat closet too (so thanks for the link)... really should have done that before the winter, thenmaybe there wouldn't be so many hats, gloves and stray shoes piling up at the bottom.
