Girly Birthday Banner

In February, I made my little man a birthday banner.  Saturday was another birthday, but I wanted the banner to be a little girlier.
This banner seriously took about an hour.  I typed out the letters on Microsoft Word, and realized that we were out of toner, so I held up a piece of paper to the screen then traced.  Then I turned them backwards, traced them on Wonder Under, ironed them on fabric, cut them out and ironed them on.
I was able to use scraps of fabric - who doesn't love that.  I added the triangles at the bottom.  Then, to keep going, I added one ruffle at the bottom.  Ruffles say girly - right?

A couple of sloppy flowers that were hot glued on and we were good to go.  I did finish ironing on the rest of M's name after I took pictures, don't worry.  It's a fun, festive banner that we can pull out every year to mark the important date.  It's the little things like these that makes these days so fun!

Laurel, I love that! I want to see the banner you made for G. Maybe I could make some for my boys!
