This weekend, we finished planting everything in our vegetable garden. It has been such a crazy spring, weather wise, but I think it's pretty safe now. We planted our tomatoes and peppers, and that was the last thing to plant. We still have to set up the drip on half the garden, but until then, I've got lots of help with watering.
This garden is like our fourth child - there is plenty of time spent watching and staring at it. Everyone in our family is enamored with it. It seems as if we can almost see it growing right before our eyes!

Hills for cukes and zukes. The cukes just started sprouting yesterday:
I can't find my picture of my beans, they are so fun. We are all dreaming of the produce we are going to enjoy in a couple of months!
For my parents - the lilacs have started blooming and the smell heavenly - makes me think of home.

Great looking garden so far! We finally got ours planted too! I never heard of the hills for cukes and zukes, can you explain?
That looks great. I'm sure you will get some wonderful crops and be eating very well this summer. I love the picture of the lilacs.
looks amazing!
It's looking good! We have yet to have good weather on a day that T is off. :( Still waiting to get our garden started, but for now I can admire yours. :)
Your garden is great. You must have some good soil. I love lilacs too. The best smell ever.

How fun! I planted ONE squash plant this year. I like to take baby steps, lol! Good luck with it!
Ok please don't make this look too easy or I'll get a wild hair and dig up my yard and then regret it when I don't have time (or any help) to tend it :)
Really - it looks AMAZING and I can't wait to see it all lush and full of yummy produce. Good luck!!
I am so proud of you. I would not say that you were a fan of gardening growing up, so welcome to the club! What are you missing?.....um.....of course! A nice big row of Walla Walla sweet onions.
Your garden looks great! It's so fun, I think, to watch the garden grow. We're just enamored by it. Ryan and I spend a lot of time on the deck pointing out things in the garden. (We're really exciting people.)
I have a major love for lilacs.
Wow! I am jealous! I would love to have a veggie garden. but this year is my learning year. I have started with some tomatoes in a large pot...but one day I would love a garden like yours. :)
