Dish Mat

I followed the tutorial from Darby and love this mat. It sits above my dishwasher, to the right of my sink. I used an old bath towel for underneath.
It's perfect for drying off the tops of the cups, or setting the rinsed off cutting boards, or our hot chocolate maker.
Much improvement over placing kitchen towels, which is what I was doing.
And, I wanted to match my apron.

I love it! I made one before Christmas, but I think I am going to make another that fits my counter space better. The fabrics you used are great!!!

I like yours a lot. I actually had Darby's dish mat bookmarked, but yours just put me over the edge. I think I'll have to make one. Esp. when you said you can use it for the cutting board to dry. That's just what I need.

Wow, much cuter than my current set-up with dish towels. I love it. Hmm, I wonder if a cute vinyl was placed instead of fabric could it then be a portable changing pad?

That's a great project. And you know I understand the compulsion to match!
