Obviously, I haven't done anything with this room . . . but that is already changing. This room is right off the foyer, and it has taken over a year of planning (and saving) to start working on this room. It's a narrow and small with ceilings that slope up to 14'. Over the next couple of months, we're painting, installing built in bookshelves, installing a chair rail and wainscoting, finding the perfect light fixture that both of us agree on (we paid to have it ired for a ceiling fan, but my hubby and I don't have the same feelings towards those), finding the perfect desk, sewing a slipcover for a couch we already own, and then accessorizing everything. We've got a lot of work ahead of us and it has already started! With every step, Tom always questions me and makes me second guess myself, including this room. He might be skeptical, but I am super excited and ready to put in some late nights on this room.

A blank canvas...how fun. Enjoy, I can't wait to see the amazing things you do.
So exciting! Good luck, can't wait to see!
Sounds amazing, can't wait to see the progress made on this room.
OOOH I can't wait to see you put your Laurel on that room!!!! Seems like everyone has big makeover plans this year, me included :)
I bet its going to be awesome!!
Follow your gut instincts on it. My sister was an inerior designer and everytime I followed what she'd say to do in my other homes it never felt like "me" or "home" to me. The past 14 years in this house I've done things my way and I've never regretted it bz it feels like home to me. I'm excited to see what you do in here. I'm starting work on a sewing room for myself in my son's old room. I can hardly wait to get it done and my sewing stuff out of the family room! Keep us updated on your progress!
This is going to be so much fun to follow! Looking forward to it.
I can't wait to see it. What a fun project. I love those little square windows. I am sure it is going to be amazing!
XOXO

Oh good! I can't wait. And I really can't wait to see what you do with those square windows so I can copy it for the square windows in my office!
