Triple Pinch Pleat Drapes

You know when you get something just right, it makes your day, week, and month? That is how the drapes are here . . . so perfect I just like to stare.
I'm a fabric swatch girl - rarely do I just buy fabric for my home without getting a swatch and making sure I like it. I've tried on about 15 different swatches in this room, but I finally found "the one." Once I saw it, I knew . . but still asked the opinion of everyone who came into my home.

I ordered it here from Fabric.com. After making the lined drapes in my master room, I think I will always line my drapes. It hardly costs more, but they hang so much better. So, these are lined. It is so worth it, in my opinion, to take the time to make these nice. They aren't hard to sew - just straight lines. Anyone can do these and it isn't as time consuming as you might think. I'm just saying, to me it's worth it to spend a little more time and make it really look top dollar.

I bought pinch pleat tape here and watched the video on how to make them. There's a couple of videos - straight forward. I love that they make them a little more special and that they hide the rod.

I still have to hem them, but I like to hang up the drapes and measure while they are hanging.

There is so much I love about them - they are perfect for right here. I can't wait to finish my sideboard, now. I hope to have it done by Thanksgiving.

They look so sophisticated and sharp! I love the fabric you chose. I have the same plate arrangement flanking the window in my dining room. Great design minds think alike. :)

They look awesome! I just ordered the pleating tape from the same place, but was a little unsure about the hooks - did you use the long deep pleat ones? I'm working on drapes for our living room (first time) and attempting to interline . . . yikes!

I agree and I love how they pop against the wall. So cute with your pumpkins too. Doesn't fall make everything seem cozier?!

GORGEOUS GORGEOUS GORGEOUS!! You make it look so easy--effortless style. The fabric's like toile at a glance, but so much prettier.

And hello--I'm in love w/ those white plates you have on display!

I agree about lining the drapes. Makes such a big difference, and I have noticed that the lining seems to keep the rooms a bit warmer with this cold weather we've been having. I am all about it! Your drapes look fabulous!

The drape fabric is beautiful! I love to change them so often that I tried lining a set in 2 different fabrics. That way I could turn them around for a new look. I know, wierd huh? But I agree with the lining. It's not that much more trouble, in fact it's probably easier with the sewing part of them. Beautiful look you have.

I love them as well. A girl after my own heart! I am working on a lined white linen set for our bedroom. With a little ruffle edge. If I keep it small enough hopefully DH won't notice ;)
