For I's birthday we made the infamous rainbow cake. We had plans to re-create it. Tonight, we did the Halloween version.

I used a yellow cake mix and gel food coloring to get it a bright orange. Much brighter than it looks here. We used a chocolate for the black.

The best part . . . . having friends over to help us eat it!

This project looks familiar...I love it!
Bad lightening or not it makes me hungry! We are having a lil fall party, just the 5 of us and will be doing some cupcakes. Yum.
What a great cake. I love that you did a Halloween one! My sister did the original and she was telling me that it took HOURS to make! I just don't think I am patient enough. Did yours take a long time to make too?
