But - my little one turned 2 this week and I am grateful for so much that she has brought to me and our family. She's a silly one and knows it. She is a sassy one and knows it. She's still little, but she doesn't know that. She's my little Velcro - always attached to me, and I am enjoying it while I have it. I don't know if the big kids are happy about that trait, but we all have learned to adapt. We all laugh and love her.

I love little M.!! I hope she had fun on her birthday. She is a sweetheart and you are a wonderful mother.
Love you guys!
sigh...i totally know what you mean. it's the hardest, yet most satisfying calling we have! it truly brings patience, love, charity, and selflessness! True teachings of the gospel! Loving these on my Sunday.
I agree with you, Laurel. Being a mother and the sacrifices we gladly make give us just a glimmer of what we hope to be someday.
Isn't she a cutie??
Happy birthday to your little one. She's absolutely darling.
Happy Birthday litle girl! Each little person brings their own unique 'flavor' to the mix, I love seeing how they all interact (when they're not screaming, of course). Hope you got a nice nap yesterday!
I came here from Chic Coles! I love your blog! I love that your style is practical and pretty.
You are blessed to have her in your family. Great post with sweet words.
Your blog is simply amazing! I found your link through A Soft Place to Land last week and have been addicted to your site ever since. Hard to believe that so many different and absolutely wonderful blogs link up in one place every week.
I have so much to learn. :)

PS: Adore your blog header!
Sunday naps are definitely a thing to be grateful for! And of course, little 2 year olds.
I've got private, so e-mail if you'd like a blog invite! her4ken@yahoo.com
I'm just trying to keep any wierdos from figuring out where we live, etc. We'll see if I stay private, but here goes a try!
i completely agree about the christ-like statement. I catch myself saying things to my kids and realizing I should be saying them to myself!
precious! what a great blog!
A (belated) Happy Birthday to the little darling!!
