polka dots - how sad would the world be without them?
grubby fingerprints on my piano - and all the sweet people who come into my home throughout the week and play my piano.
black shoes in my foyer - there's so much about this that makes me smile. Maybe that all the men were polite enough to take off their shoes, maybe it's because they are all dress shoes that represent something more, maybe it's the sheer number (this picture is about half of them).

General Conference weekend
It's finally October! It's "holiday season" for the next three months. Yeah!

I received this award this week from Kathy at Creative Home Expressions and Tricia at Life At The Zoo. Thank you so much. I need to pass it onto a few blogs: Good Girl Gone Glad, NewlyWoodwards, Tatertots and Jello, and Outside my Kitchen Window. Please take a second to pass it on.

I smiled when I read you were grateful for Costco's return policy! Isn't that the truth!
And I am LOVING fall this year!! Absolutely loving!
Your husband must be a Young Men's leader to have all those dress shoes there at once! I'm not ready for the holidays though. Can't psych myself up for any of it yet as my focus has been on my son who leaves on his mission the first part of December. Cindy
I WOULD be sad without polka dots. Thanks you Laurel, for the award! I so enjoy your blog and have been dreaming of those pillows you made.
Congratulations on the award! And Costco's return policy IS the best! We're finally having beautiful fall weather here, for which I am grateful as well :)
I love gratitude lists! It really puts life in perspective. I too am grateful for GOOD return policies! ;)
Yes to Costco's return policy! What? No receipt no tag on those pants missing a button? Here's $16! Love it!
