I don't mind being a stay at home mom.
Who wouldn't love to spend the mornings hanging out at the pool? I feel bad for my hubby - in his office all day.
We have been to the pool every day for the past 2 weeks. We've spent the entire morning there, come home and have some lunch and put M. down for a nap.
By the time the night comes they are exhausted. We all are, but we wake up and do it again.

Awesome day!!! I totally agree, summertime is the pinnacle of being a stay-at-home mom; having that freedom to enjoy the weather like you did when you were a kid!
I think being a stay at home mom should have it's perks too!!
You are a good mommy for taking them to the pool so much! I am lazy this week, and last. We are at a hotel until our house closes in about a month and the kids ask to swim all the time. We go about twice a week, and the pool is right outside the door!

Isn't Summer just magical?? I love the way my kids look with the reflection of the pool water off their skin.
So nice! Our stinkin' pool doesn't open for public swimming until 12 noon, and that's just too late for the little ones. We start 5pm swim lessons on Monday so we'll be there everyday thereafter!
It's 4:00 on a Friday, and I could just die of jealousy. Just die. Ugh.
I'm totally going to have to go to the pool this weekend.

The very best thing about summer is having control over the day. I Love it. I read a post on teaching your kids to swim which basically said to just go to the pool a lot. We've been regular fish this summer. Your pictures look peaceful.

Ahhhh, the lovely lazy summer days of childhood. If we can't all be kids again, being a mom and getting to share these joys w/ the kids will suffice!
Yeah, I have to say that being a SAHM can be pretty cushy sometimes. Particularly when they are a little older. ;) I feel soooo grateful and blessed to be able to hang out with my kids at the pool and at home during the Summer.
