Today I am grateful that I am a mother. It's a blessing I take for granted, way too often. I've never had any problems carrying babies, making babies, or not being in a total partnership with my husband. These are trials I can't even begin to imagine. All my babies are in good health; they're beautiful, intelligent and good people. There's a song I. and G. sing that they learned in Church. It has a line that says "God gave us families to help us become what he wants us to be." I would not be the person I am now without my children. It has forced me to make changes that I wouldn't naturally do by myself - but changes that are necessary to become a better person. I'm extremely blessed to have my children, to be their mother - and I tell them that often. This is a great day.
I'm grateful for my mother. Without getting too sappy and making serious things seem superficial, I can't imagine who I would be without her.

The picture of your children together is beautiful! What camera did you use, or did someone else take that picture?
