Just thought I would give a shout-out for this book. I just picked this book up at Costco and love it. Perfect for shoppers like me - the just grab and go type. I don't have time to read labels, but I know I should.
Some of the facts were amazing to me. I.'s oatmeal that she begs for every morning - has the same amount of sugar as 3 bowls of Froot Loops! The lemonade that I let them get at Sonic has the same amount of sugar as 6 ice cream sandwiches! I love that it gives alternates - so my kids don't have to give up their favorites altogether.
I know there is a kids version, that I might just have to get, also.

I heard that book is interesting!!! But, I will probaly still eat the "NOT THAT".

I didn't know oatmeal had THAT much sugar!!! That book would be eye opening to me...scary.

I did a post about these same books!! I love them! I got the kids one too and Sophie likes looking through it and has gotten on board with healthier packed lunches because of it - happy result!!
I've heard of that a lot...more and more recently. I know Oprah has that author on sometimes. I should get it. I'm such a picky eater I'll probably never do the "perfect diet", but it'd be nice to be aware of what I AM eating and to have good alternatives.

I saw this last time I was there - it looked really interesting. But I was in a "not that" sort of buying mode that day. Maybe next time I'll pick it up!
Yes! We have this book too and we love it. I didn't know there was a kids' version too. I will have to look for it!
