My little blog is turning one today - holy moley.
I could get all philosophical and tell you all the things it has brought to my life, the difference it has made, the friends I now have and so on. I really love to read it when others do this. But, if you know me, you know I have about 5 minutes broken up throughout the day to get this done before I'm onto the next thing!
So, to thank anyone who spends some time here, especially those who comment, I am having a little giveaway.

I just have to mention, I can't wait to see how your backyard comes along...You are so smart to do it right from the get-go. That will give you a wonderful foundation for the plants and projects you have in mind.
At our last house, I planned and planted an elaborate roses/perennials garden, and it was so fulfilling to do it slowly, as we could afford it (and as I could get my husband and family's help;). Alas, I became unable to care for it, so now, at our present home, we are going with a simple grass yard and hanging baskets, once we get the irrigation fixed. It's still a work-in-progress!
