What's Been Keeping Us Up All Night

I have decided to finish up projects - I really have a pet peeve about leaving unfinished projects.

This is my baby's bedding. I sewed the bumper, the skirt, a duvet cover and a pillow. My favorite part, other than the Amy Butler fabric is the white piping separating it.

One night, I sewed 5 hooded towels. I was practicing monogramming. I used up trim I had and some of the towels. These two are for my neice and nephew (surprise!)

My little man is sitting on his Halloween blanket - again, using up some of what I had to practice monogramming. I decided to do 3, which took awhile. I put pom poms around the edge, and if I had to do it again, I would always choose the big pom poms. Anyways, they all have their name on them, and yes, I do plan on making some Christmas ones.

Next week, we're going to Breckenridge for "Grandma's Camp" with my kids and my sister-in-law and her baby. I made an apron for my mom with all the Grandkids names on it. Smart me decided to change color with every name - this took forever! Maybe, we'll put handprints on it - what do you think, sibs?
Also, we officially started this:

That is our backyard and Grandpa Mac running the machine-thing. I'm so excited, it's so much work, it's so much money, but it will be beautiful!

So, there's a lot going on and the only time I have to do things it late. Unfortunately, my body does pretty well on little sleep and I have hopes that will change.

PS - this is really who has been keeping us up all night:

Sooooooo cute!!! You are so good with all this sewing and monogramming. Maybe someday I'll be able to do that too. I'm excited to see you guys. Will you still like me even if I'm not very crafty or creative? I sure hope so! Although I will say I got to play with the "criket" at Mom's house and it was fun...maybe there is some creativity in me after all! We'll see...:)

For some reason, I can't enlarge the pictures and I'm dying to see the fabric. Download it on myfamily too please. :)
I can't wait to put your monogramming skills to work. (toot).

I'd like to know more about this sewing machine! I am looking at getting one too, and it looks like a monogrammer would be lots of fun. Do you shop for fabric online or is there a fun store you love? I love projects and can hardly wait to start some. Right now I am trying to be realistic with myself so I don't kill myself trying to get everything I want done. Hats off to you!

Love the baby's bedding! That AB fabric is so yummy! Love the towels too! You should have an Etsy shop.
